Hi, I’m Dr. angelica geter.

For two decades, Dr. Geter has applied her expertise in public health, psychology, and policy development to tackle the effects of structural racism and systemic inequity. She specializes in addressing health disparities related to race and gender through data analytics and storytelling. She has co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles on racial and gender disparities in the southeastern region of the United States. Dr. Geter’s research has advanced national guidelines, initiatives, and interventions.

Geter also serves on the American Heart Association Southeast Board of Directors. The Technical.ly DC Culture Builder of the Year is widely recognized for her expertise and featured in several media outlets, including Essence Magazine, Yes Magazine, CNBC News, MSN, and Black Enterprise. Dr. Geter’s contributions to the public health field have earned her multiple accolades, including being named to Morehouse School of Medicine’s distinguished “Top 10 Under 40” list and being inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Public Health Hall of Fame in 2023.
